Corvette Wraps in Tampa, FL

C7, C8 Stingray and C8 Z06 color change, stealth PPF and visible-carbon overlay packages — mid-engine specific install.

About Corvette Wrap

The C8 changed everything for Corvette wraps. Mid-engine layout, exposed engine glass, removable Targa roof, and a body geometry that's closer to a Ferrari than a Camaro. Wrapping a C8 the way you'd wrap a C7 leaves you with lift at every air-inlet edge and visible cut lines under the engine glass. We do C8s differently.

C8-specific install: engine glass, side scoops, Targa roof

The C8's mid-engine layout puts air inlets, scoops and the engine-glass surround in places no front-engine car has them. The intake scoops behind the doors are the highest-failure zone on cheap C8 wraps — film wrapped against an installed scoop lifts within months from intake air pressure.

We remove the side intake scoops, wrap the body underneath, then wrap the scoops as separate pieces and reinstall. The engine-glass surround gets the same treatment — pulled, wrapped, reinstalled.

The Targa roof comes off for the install, wraps separately on the bench, and reinstalls. C8 owners run with the roof off constantly in Florida — leaving an unwrapped Targa shut-line is a fast tell of a budget install.

Stealth PPF: the preferred Corvette protection path

More than half our Corvette work is stealth PPF (full satin paint protection film) rather than vinyl color change. The C8 paint, especially Hypersonic Gray and Torch Red, takes stone chips badly — Tampa interstates are merciless on a low-clearance C8 front splitter.

Stealth PPF gives the satin look most C8 owners want PLUS the chip protection PPF provides. Full-car stealth on a C8 runs $7,500–$10,500 depending on coverage level. Worth every dollar on a $70k+ car.

Visible-carbon overlay packages for Z06

Z06 owners increasingly want a forged-carbon look on the splitter, side skirts, mirror caps and rear diffuser without paying for the factory carbon-fiber aero package ($8,500 option). We do that with real forged-carbon film (not the diamond-pattern cheap stuff) for $1,800–$2,400 — saves $6,000 and looks factory-correct from any angle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I wrap or PPF my C8 Corvette?
PPF (stealth) if you want satin and protection — that's our majority recommendation for daily-driven C8s in Tampa. Vinyl wrap if you want a real color change (matte green, color-shift, etc.) the factory doesn't offer. Both are reversible.
Can you wrap a C8 Z06 with the carbon-fiber aero package?
Yes — we wrap around the visible-carbon pieces (keeping them carbon) or wrap over them in body color if you want a clean monochrome look. The aero pieces detach for the install either way.
How much does a C8 Corvette wrap cost in Tampa?
Full vinyl color change C8 Stingray: $4,800–$6,200. Stealth full-PPF: $7,500–$10,500. Z06 carbon-overlay package only: $1,800–$2,400. Combination builds (stealth PPF + carbon overlay) common at $9,000–$12,500.
Will the wrap interfere with the engine cooling or the mid-engine intakes?
Not when installed correctly. We never wrap into intake openings — film stops at the inlet edge and the airflow path stays clear. Engine bay and cooling system are factory-untouched.
Can you do a C7 Stingray or Grand Sport wrap?
Yes — C7 install is more straightforward (front-engine, conventional panel layout). C7 full wrap: $4,200–$5,500. C7 stealth PPF: $6,500–$8,500. Same materials and warranty as C8 work.

I recently had my new Ford Bronco Raptor done at Prime3Wraps and couldn’t be happier with the results. Jay and his team installed matte PPF, tinted the windows, and added windshield protection film — everything came out absolutely flawless. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship were incredible from start to finish. You can tell they truly care about the quality of their work and treat every vehicle like it’s their own. The matte PPF completely transformed the look of the Bronco, and the tint and protection film were installed perfectly with no imperfections. Jay and his team were professional, meticulous, and great to work with throughout the entire process. If you’re looking for high-end wrap, PPF, or tint work, I highly recommend Prime3Wraps.

Jay and team did a great job with a chrome delete on my car. They were prompt, fairly priced and took pride in their work. I highly recommend!

Outfitting a business fleet costs a lot so getting our plumbing vans wrapped right the first time was a big deal. The design they made is very professional and the vinyl feels super thick and safe. They finished the work so fast that we barely missed any jobs. I will absolutely use their services for the rest of our work vans very soon.
