Tesla Model Y Wraps in Tampa, FL
Full wraps, partial roof + hood blackouts and stealth PPF built around the Model Y's panoramic glass roof and family-hauler use case.
About Tesla Model Y Wrap
The Model Y has a different owner profile than the Model 3 — more family-haulers, more daily-school-run miles, more parking-lot door dings. Our most-booked Model Y service isn't a full color change, it's targeted protection on the surfaces that take abuse.
The Model Y's glass roof, liftgate seal and rear-bumper load lip
The Model Y's panoramic glass roof is the largest single piece of automotive glass we work near. We never wrap it — but we DO wrap a clean line along the roof rail where the glass meets body color, which is where most cheap installs leave a ragged edge.
The rear-bumper load lip takes constant abuse from grocery bags, dog claws, kid backpacks and bike racks. We default to a clear PPF strip along the entire load-lip on every Model Y wrap — it's a $180 add-on that saves an $800 rear-bumper re-wrap two years in.
The liftgate seal sits flush against painted body. We pull the seal back and wrap underneath it, so when it eventually compresses you don't see an unwrapped strip.

Roof / hood-only blackout: the Florida heat-soak partial wrap
A surprising number of Model Y owners come to us for a roof + hood blackout instead of a full color change. Black film on those two panels drops measured cabin temperature 8–14°F on a Tampa summer day vs. a white roof — and it's a $900 install instead of a $3,500 full wrap.
We do this with a 7-year satin black cast film, edge-sealed at the panel-gap lines. It reads like a factory two-tone Performance package from 30 feet.

Model Y Performance vs. Long Range install differences
Performance trims have the larger 21-inch Überturbine wheels and the unique carbon-look spoiler. We don't wrap the spoiler in body color — wrapping a carbon-look surface in solid color reads cheap. We DO offer a forged-carbon film over the factory spoiler if you want to upgrade the look without losing the carbon aesthetic. Long Range trims with 19-inch Gemini wheels usually get a satin black wheel face wrap as a $400 add-on.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Should I wrap or PPF my Model Y?
- If you want a color change: wrap (or stealth PPF if you want satin without changing color). If you only want chip protection on a white/black/silver Y: PPF only. Roof + hood blackout works with either material.
- Will the wrap interfere with the panoramic roof?
- No — we never wrap the glass. We wrap up to the rail edge with a clean line, and the roof seal stays untouched.
- How much does a Model Y full wrap cost in Tampa?
- $3,500–$4,800 depending on film line and disassembly level. Performance trims run $200–$400 more because of the larger fender wells and unique spoiler treatment.
- Can you wrap the Cybertruck? (asking for the future)
- Yes — Cybertruck is stainless steel, which doesn't take paint correction or polish well, so wraps are the standard cosmetic finish path. We're set up for it; the install time is roughly double a Model Y because of the panel geometry.
