Dodge Challenger Wraps in Tampa, FL

Two-door retro muscle wraps — Shaker hoods, R/T and Scat Pack color change, full Hellcat builds and Demon 170 stripe deletes.

About Dodge Challenger Wrap

The Challenger is a different wrap job than the Charger — two doors, longer doors, a Shaker hood option that changes the entire install, and a body shape that's been frozen since 2008. That continuity is a gift: every install lesson we've learned over 12 years of Challengers carries forward to the 2023 last-year models in our shop today.

The long-door problem and how we solve it

Challenger doors are roughly 14 inches longer than a Charger door. That means a single piece of film has to stretch and conform across a much bigger surface — and the door has a noticeable body line two-thirds down its length that catches the film during install.

We do every Challenger door with the door removed from the car. It bolts off in four bolts, gets wrapped flat on the bench with full access to the inside cavity and shut line, then reinstalls. The result is a body-line transition that reads painted, not wrapped.

Shaker hood: the install nobody else will quote

Shaker-equipped Scat Packs and Hellcats have a hood scoop that physically protrudes through the hood. The scoop attaches to the engine, not the body — when the engine moves under torque, the scoop moves independently of the hood.

Wrapping a Shaker means: remove the entire hood, wrap it as a separate piece on the bench, remove and wrap the Shaker scoop separately, reinstall both, and color-match the air-cleaner housing if it's visible. It's an extra day and $400–$600 on the bill — most shops decline the work, we book it weekly.

Stripe delete and historic-livery wraps

Many Challengers ship with factory stripes that owners eventually want gone. Stripe delete is a wrap service: we wrap the entire roof, trunk and hood in body-matched color so the factory stripes disappear under the new film.

On the other end, retro-livery builds (T/A red, AAR Plum Crazy, Hemi Orange with white side scallop) are some of our most-shared Challenger builds. We replicate factory historic liveries with cast film + digital print where exact stripe geometry matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you wrap a Challenger with the factory dual stripes?
Yes — we can wrap the stripes (keeping the look but in a different color), wrap over them entirely (stripe delete), or remove stripes and wrap the bare paint underneath. Each path has different prep time and pricing.
Does the Shaker hood need to come off?
On any quality Shaker wrap, yes. Wrapping a Shaker installed always leaves visible cut lines around the scoop base and the scoop itself looks misaligned with the hood color. The bench install adds about a day to the build.
How much does a Challenger Hellcat wrap cost in Tampa?
Standard gloss or satin color change: $3,800–$4,800 with hood and splitter pulled. Specialty (reflective, color-shift, digital print): $5,500–$8,500. Shaker disassembly adds $400–$600.
Will the wrap clear the wide-body fender flares?
Yes — wide-body Challenger (Scat Pack Wide-body, Hellcat Wide-body, Demon) flares come off for any wrap we do. Wrapping over installed wide-body flares is the single most common amateur install we see come in for re-wrap.
Can you match the Last Call edition colors?
Most of them — F8 Green Last Call, Sublime Last Call, Plum Crazy Last Call all have close cast-film matches. Triple Nickel (silver) is the hardest match; we recommend coming in for a swatch comparison before quoting.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

I recently had my new Ford Bronco Raptor done at Prime3Wraps and couldn’t be happier with the results. Jay and his team installed matte PPF, tinted the windows, and added windshield protection film — everything came out absolutely flawless. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship were incredible from start to finish. You can tell they truly care about the quality of their work and treat every vehicle like it’s their own. The matte PPF completely transformed the look of the Bronco, and the tint and protection film were installed perfectly with no imperfections. Jay and his team were professional, meticulous, and great to work with throughout the entire process. If you’re looking for high-end wrap, PPF, or tint work, I highly recommend Prime3Wraps.

Jay and team did a great job with a chrome delete on my car. They were prompt, fairly priced and took pride in their work. I highly recommend!

Outfitting a business fleet costs a lot so getting our plumbing vans wrapped right the first time was a big deal. The design they made is very professional and the vinyl feels super thick and safe. They finished the work so fast that we barely missed any jobs. I will absolutely use their services for the rest of our work vans very soon.
